Many people in history tried to define the concept and meaning of "Prima Materia": mercury, fire, blood, poison, mother, earth and many more. However, after all those studies, the preminent conceptual definition was the one of "primeval element", "pure subjectivity and unity of forms and shapes", "the root of itself".

A pure element, raw, clean and perfect with no need to be modelled, to be modified, not affected yet by the superstructures of the world we are living in.

Referring to this concept, sgt.chill and Al Faith - inspired by a track of Alex Smoke that they both love and that has the same title - wanted to create a radio show free from interests and labels of any kind, nurtured only by a pure, raw and instinctive love for electronic music and all the cultural underworld that surrounds it and from a spasmodic attention to research and detail.

A fortnight appointment, with new highly selectioned tips, guests, dj sets, mini-thematic pills, jovial conversations and discussions, plus - and that's the big news - a montly third appointment , a kind of "Best of" in English language that will close our monthly schedule, to spread out our message as much as we can, to break any kind of border and frontier. To arrive everywhere to try to satisfy and reach who loves electronic music.

A radio show about electronic music and cultures that fuses the 7-years history as Urban Cafe's host and anchor of sgt.chill together with the new influences brought as a gift, like one of the three Magi, with his 4WD equipped camel.
